The essentials
Personal features or shared perks?
Nitro follows your account. Server boosts are allocated to a specific community. That distinction is the most useful starting point when deciding where to spend your budget.
Someone who chats across many servers may value personal customization more. A community organizer may be more interested in the experience members share in one server.
Where the two overlap
A standard full Nitro subscription includes two server boosts, while Nitro Basic does not. Those included boosts can contribute to a server, but Nitro and a standalone boost package are still different products.
Check the exact subscription or offer before assuming it includes boosts. Your server’s existing allocations also affect how many additional boosts it needs.
A practical way to choose
Start with the feature you want, then work backward to the smallest suitable purchase. Check Discord’s current feature descriptions and the package duration before buying.
- For personal expression and sharing features, compare Nitro plans.
- For a particular server level, check existing boost allocations first.
- For both, account for any boosts already included with your subscription.
- Compare the ongoing cost, not just the first payment.
Find the upgrade that fits.
Compare current packages, then check the product requirements and total before you buy.
